With passion & a result-oriented approach
We do not agree with Social Responsibility upholders way it comes to just "supporting" arts by passively transferring money. At Arthur & Mathew, we beleive that Arts and the artist, deserve a better approach based on partnership.
Along that philosophy, we dedicate, usually twice a year, time and resources to assist selected artists to bring their work to a larger audience, capitalizing on the strongly appealing Côte d'Azur (Nice, Cannes, Saint-Paul de Vence, Monaco, Saint-Tropez, etc.), where our Head Office is located. Throughout the year we have structured this action in packages, that the artists can combine and select to arm the most possible relevant support, based on their exact needs.
Some of those services are provided for free, others are provided at cost, while specific demands are priced and negociated with the artist to reach the best compromise between efficiency and cost.
Equine arts are particularly highlighted this year. At Arthur & Matthew, we love horses and polo (that's for the passion), and we proud ourselves to be highly connected with these areas (that's for the efficiency). We then gladly accepted to assist two well known argentinan artists, Silvana Commendatore and Bartolomé Vaccarezza in setting-up one their first exhibition in Europe (April 7-19, 2009 - Galerie des Dominicains, Nice).
